New Hampshire: Today
Super Tuesday: Just Around the Corner
While New Yorkers have not been barraged by presidential hopefuls in Iowa or New Hampshire style, as recent additions to the Super Duper Tuesday roster, our courtship with these politicos is nearing. And as things heat up-both in the presidential race and the global atmosphere- this seems like the right time to look at what these folks have to say about the environment.
Super Duper Tuesday: February 5th
My personal vision for environmental policy doesn’t necessarily seperate it from health care or taxes, the economy or jobs, as they are all connected-and not in a romantic “One World” sentiment, but rather a literal connection. We seem to be hearing some of these connections being made by certain candidates with the creation of Green Corps and Green Collar Work forces, in addition to calls for Energy Economies. But I look forward to the day when a candidate actually runs on a platform calling for a more inclusive and connected reorganization of this country’s resources and priorities. For now, here is an extremely helpful guide to the environmental visions and plans of each candidate running to be the president of the United States in 2008.
