<description>I hope to turn the State Board of Education in Texas around on this and other scientific issues. I am running for State Board of Education in District 5 against an extremist incumbent with no understanding of science. We have the opportunity to bring real science back to the curriculum in the fall. This struggle between a 21st century curriculum and ideology- and industry-driven confusion is occurring all over the nation. Our future rests on teaching accurate, up-to-date science. I hope that thoughtful, reasonable people all over the nation will rise to this challenge. Please visit voterebecca.com for more information on my campaign.
